Incredibly in just two weeks, I will be swearing-in as a Peace Corps Volunteer (fingers crossed). With the speed of training, I haven’t spent much time going through my photos. I’m happy enough when I remember to even photograph what’s happening! As some of you know, I’ve yet to properly go through my photos from Martinique and all ensuing travel from the past couple years. So it may be a while until I’m putting together quality photo albums.
All that being said, I’ve pulled together a few photos from the favorites roll. They are in roughly chronological order, but I’ve privileged some categorization over chronology.

Early days at Pagala and in our host villages:
First weekend with my host family! A little funny to look at these photos again… Blessing is such a happy kid, but she’s doing the deep camera stare, and we’re all awkwardly standing side-by-side. After a couple months I think we’re all more comfortable with each other, and happier for it.
